Derpy Hooves on a Canterlot throne.
(Due to the helmet she is probably a General Derpy)

Upd2: When I worked on this picture, I thought of some apocalyptic background.
Apparently there was a war between New Lunar Republic and Solar Empire, Derpy took a Luna side as a general. When Luna died in her hooves, Depry swore to overthrow Celestia from the throne and kill her for good.
Such a tragic story.

not to make it sound like a bad thing but how did DERPY of all pony's make general is it cause of accidental chaos at the right time? or pure luck?

During the war Derpy was sent to the frontline as a part of the recon squad. She took part in the most dangerous and desperate battles and always returned home, usually as a solo survivor. It was soon discovered that her enemies were killed in most horrible and gruesome way.
Derpy's response? "I don't know what went wrong".
Soon pony started to really FEAR her, and she started to climb military ranks quickly, eventually gaining the rank of Corporal(?).
After that she was unofficially called as a Pale Plague, the one of War Abominations. (Including Lyra "Steal Hurricane" Hearthstring and Pinkie "Diane" Pie)
Probably at this point her rise to the General rank and the throne was inevitable. And I think she would gladly give everything back just to return Luna

This work was mostly inspired by and her(?) canonical General Derpy. Since there was literally no info on GD, I had to invent story

I don't actually see a throne up on that platform. I assume that the first time she sat on it her backside reduced it to rubble, just as it destroyed town hall?
