this has been bugging me ever since I wrote A Sherly Interesting Halloween
Halloween night has arrived in London and John Watson was getting ready to go to a party. He decided he would dress up as a soldier since he'd forgotten to get a costume. He'd been trying to occupy himself as much as possibly ever since his best mate's death and this party were contributing to this as well. He put on his boots and walked out the door on his way to a party he wouldn't forget.
Most people were in costume and having a good time but John felt a bit empty inside. He thought about Sherlock and what he would be doing tonight. Watson began to look at all the costumes and socialize to get his mind off Sherlock. He went to get a drink I tweaked him a bit
