Description This is one of my favorite chart of some of our largest theropods  to ever walk this planet by one of my absolutely favorite paleoartist Davide Bonadonna.
(notice) the picture is 5583x1181. Watch the great details and feathers (T.rex) use the magnifying glass one or two times.

1. Spinosaurus Ageypticus (Paul Serreno and Nizar Ibrahim) early Cretaceous period Africa.
2. Giganotosaurus - late Cretaceous period Argentina.
3. Tyrannosaurus rex - late Cretaceous period North America.
3. Suchomimus - early Cretaceous period Africa.

Yeah there is still questionmarks around this new edition Serreno and Ibrahim revealed. But the one in Jurassic park is already out of the question.

Because feather's are mostly a coleosaur thing like dromaeosaurs and Tyrannosaurs. While Spinosaurus is a Megalosauroid. Most species of Megalosauroids have fossil evidence osteoderms. but no sign or evidence of feather's.

IF you use the magnifier you can see the feathers on the Rex.    And it´s still not certain what kind of stage feathers certain species have for instance the SA or the Giganotosaurus. allosaurids  is from a different branch than the Tyrannosauriae and also raptors so i guess more research is needed to be able to tell how much or how far back these feathers is going.

But kulindadromaeus, sinosauropteryx and sciurumimus! And we know exactly the same about em having osteoderms: nothing.

I saw the rex' feathers.

Well keep in mind every artist have their own style of potray them, Davide is making this with huge influence of Serrenos and Ibrahims version.
