Thanks! This is the first image I ever did that involved a picture of a real animal. I started this in GIMP and finished it in CS5 after the tiger was already removed and before i knew about the new masking tools on CS5.

I've actually never figured how to do the trick with the eyes easily...

just color over them with the paintbrush and then try setting the Layer's effect setting to Overlay, Soft Light, or Color. One of those usually ends up looking good.
