The actual title for this picture was supposed to be 'Midnight Conversations,' but I could not for the LIFE of me fit it into the eensy Deviation Title space provided.

Anyway, this is L + Mello as commissioned by . I LOVE L + MELLO and it was an incredibly awesome excuse to draw this picture! More finished commission work will be coming soon, actually! I messed-up on one of the larger pieces and have to outright redo it [driving, terrible shame;], but here we have THIS piece done-!

She originally commissioned me for tight inkwork only, which has a discount in my commissions section if you're commissioning Death Note pairings... but when I failed to create the right atmosphere with inks alone, I ended-up doing some simple CG finishing work at the end there.
