Black Doom! As a hedgehog! Yeah, I know. don't like the idea? Don't comment
Been working on this one for AGES. It's taken waaayy too long. Was originally gonna do something spiffy with the background but I gave up on that. So here's a quick, half-assed one!
I sorta gave him a new. more modernish outfit. Woo.

OMG I LOVE THE HANDS! I know, weird thing to point out, but I couldn't help but notice how well I think the hands are drawn.
Although I don't know who Black Doom is, I don't think there's anything wrong with "furrifying" existing characters

A unique and interesting take on transforming the character into something different. What this shows is a real burst of creativity in how you have taken something know by many and given it a fresh new look from a different perspective. It's nice to see the transition of one to another and the way you've also kept it simple to the original concept. Though on first glance some might naturally mistake it for being Shadow, there lays a level of humour in how Black Doom and Shadow are connect. Thus in this form he would almost be identical to him.
The overall design is strong, this includes the development you've made to your understanding of Photoshop and the new additions you've added to your brush work and textures.

I'm guessing this is like a theory of sorts on how Shadow got his quill designs, fur color and etc.

Well this theory actually makes sense...
I mean... Black Arms...BLACK and RED aliens... Shadow alive because of Black Doom's blood...then all of a sudden, Shadow is black and red as well...
unless Professor Gerald likes those colors or wants to make Shadow seem threatening, in which is kinda strange to begin with... ((too much info to talk about XD *nerding out* ))

I love this 8D Non-mobian characters turned Mobian are always a win for me, and this is no exception haha! He looks like such a badass, I love that expression. And those eyes *u* All the jewelry he's wearing is a nice touch, also, seeing as normally he's wearing about eighty thousand chains and such :>
You did a great job with the CG! The time it took was really well worth it, the shading is so nice and detailed. (especially with his quills!)
