Carmelita was dead tired as she walked through the hallways of interpol over to her office. Its was a hell of a day, but then again there was never a peaceful day in acapulco.
As carmelita was heading to her office she realized she hadn't seen Sly sence lunch. Wondering where he was sheeta walked up to her and noticed her friend was off thinking something. " Zorra? Whats got you in a fix?" She said leaning against the wall. "Hm? Oh,hey, oye, you seen Sly anywhere?" " Tu novio? Hmmmm,no, not sence lunch....but.." " But what?" Said carmelita. " Well, its just after lunch I saw him walking out of the cafetiria but her looked kind of ,sad." " Triste?" "Uh huh. I asked what was wrong but he said it was nothing and left." Carmelita was now concerned, knowing sly was upset somewhere she left sheeta and walked around the department looking for sly. After looking in a few places where sly would usually be she went into the gym and looked around but he wasn't there. Carmelita was getting a little worried when something caught her eye. On the upper walkway in the gym she saw a shadow through the large window. Carmelita walked up some stairs and through the exit door that lead to a balcony near the gym. As she walked out she saw a beatiful sunset behind the city, it was breath taking, but she wasn't her for the view. " Carm?" Said a rather confused voice, she turned around to see Sly sitting down near the edge of the balcony, carmelita was relieved to see that he was fine,but that quickly went away. His eyes were blood shot from tears that stained his cheecks leaving wet tear tracks on his fur. Carmelita was shocked. " Sly....w-whats the matter?" He didn't say anything, he seemed to be lost in his own thoughts as he looked at the sunset behind her. Carmelita began to slowly walk towards him, she sat down next to him and gently grabbed his hand."Dime..." Sly didn't say anything for a while. But slowly carmelita saw his lips move. " D-did you know its my dad's birthday today?" And those were the last words sly said when again he busted into tears. Carmelita didn't know what to say. but she knew what to do. She wrapped her arms around him and layed her head on his shoulder. " It takes a real man to cry sly..."

A 2-3 day project finally done! Aawwww, poor sly. I've been artist block for a long time. I've been drawing a lot of sketches in my sketch book but there all W.I.P so far. But sence I'm a Sly cooper fan I decided to draw and paint another pic. And I LOVE the way it turned out! But I got to tell you all the story was emotional! ( nearly teared up while righting it) but maybe its because I know what its like, I don't know much about my real dad, but we do stay intouch. Its hard, and there are times when I think about what could have been. Anyways, i DO NOT want anybody to feel sorry for me,thats the LAST thing I would want. But I do want to say to all those people that know the absence of a parent your not alone.
