the coffeepanda! hahahaA lil giftie for my friend ~creepynurse for always being nice amongst other awesomeness ^3^ I could't help but draw a lil red panda yawning XD The ones I used to take care of at the zoo were always yawning, they reminded me of lil kittens XD Attempt at a background WOO ahhahahaha (which is mainly sky)

DUDE the coloring on this IS SICK. those bamboos are so alive looking! and I love the fur as always. It looks like you could actually PET it. I love its face. tooo cute. also, the background works, it looks great! If I only had one thing to improve I would just continue it down the right side of the image like the sky in front of its face cause the asymmetry is just a little wierd and I like the roundess of the one side where it makes almost a natural frame for it.
EEEEEE I just noticed it's paws. I'm gonna go die they are so cute.

Thanks ladyface! I managed to get that giant dark spot outta there I was telling you about! And OK, so the right side by where it's butt is? Like keep going with the sky or do you mean the side its face is pointed at? And ahhahah I <3 paws, I had to make em all squiggles XD

Her cutest ever little yawn ( makes me say: 'askskorjsjfa!'), those little toes, how fluffy she looks and over all how fantastic she is in your allmighty style 8D
What also kills me is that I can't touch her! I would love to hug her and never let go off my lap >wI also adore the backgound, she fits well under those bad-ass bamboos >:3! And the early morning sky is a beautiful add on this ^w^

lol! I'm so glad you like her, I wanted to draw her doing that FOREVER, you have no idea XD Any time I saw the pandas at the zoo I worked at yawn, I was like AWWWWW then I thought of Coco and was like, GUINEA PIG hahahhahaha I don't think I'd ever let go of fuzzy lil Coco, she'd be like >8| RAGE hahahaha And I did work at a zoo, it was tons of fun! Most the animals were old then, and a lot have died since then, and now the zoo lost its accreditation and they had to get rid of all 3 of their tigers and pandas and the bears to a different zoo =\ They still have one of the wolves at least from when I was there, he's such a poor old man though lol

Nuuu, but it's kinda sad what happened to the zoo :< At least you got a chance to work there when there were lots of animals! Lol, now that I think of it, I'm pretty sure I've never seen a reed panda awake when I've visited a zoo xDDD

lol! They were hardly ever awake at the one I worked at either XD They were so sleepy all the time, but then you'd get them food and they'd be like 8| hahahaha And one always used to do laps around the cage after eating hahahha

Hey, the background came out really well. Red Pandas are frickin' adorable. Did you work at a Zoo? I volunteer most of my spare time working at the one close to where I live. I've never had the pleasure of working with pandas before, though.

Thank you! The practice is much needed x3 And I did work at a zoo, which I volunteered at prior, then did an internship, then kinda stayed on for awhile. XD I enjoyed it a lot, and the red pandas were one of my favorites, they were so sweet and gentle, and as strange as it sounds they smelled wonderful, like a bakery or something hahahahha I really liked working with all the animals though, lots of fun, and I really miss them.

Aww, they sound adorable! I'm played with tiger cubs before and reptiles of all shapes and sizes. There is just something about being that close to animals that most people never even get to see in their life times. ^^ Say, one of my best friends is a Zoo Keeper and a photographer, she has a dA and some really awesome pictures. Yeah, I know the feeling. We know some much about certain animals, but nothing can prepare you for what it's like to be able to touch them. I've fed Maned Wolves before and was chased by a African Spur tortoise, well chased isn't the word. They move so slow. Hehe. Followed around closely might be better.

Yea. Or being close to them even. The zoo I worked at believed in keeping them 'wild' so we couldn't pet them and they usually stayed away if we were in their cage, low interaction type of thing, but then one time I was taking care of the wolves, and they never come down inside the compound, and I was raking their beds and was like something is behind me and I turn around and the alpha male is just standing there 6 inches away like he was my best friend, and I just about died of surprise hahahahah He seemed so much larger just standing by me, seriously was up to my mid belly, and I was like...HEY get outta here and he's like..OK and just walked away lol Totally surprised me-he didn't look as big at a distance XD

That is so cool! I bet that's a memory you will never forget. Hehe. Our Zoo is much the same way about the 'wild' part. The animals I got to handle or get close to were all hand raised for certain reasons. The Keepers try their best to let the mother's raise the young, but you know how it is. Sometimes it doesn't always work out like that and so they step in to help the little fellows out. Like our Hyenas. They were given to the Zoo after being taken from some person that was trying to raise them as pets. ): They didn't have the nicest of owners. Poor dears. So the Zoo took them in and has taken great care of them. I have become extremely fond of them. They are shy, but very friendly. ^^

A lot of ours were handraised too, but we still couldn't touch em or whatever, and we never bred any of our animals, mostly due to space constraints. That's a bummer about those lil hyenas as pets, but I'm glad they ended up in a zoo instead.

Yeah, they are being kept out of sight until we can get a display ready for them. Which is going to be tricky, like your Zoo we have limited spaces. But until then, they have a nice cozy little place in the back. ^^

Nah I don't work with the zoo any more. I live 300 miles from it now, but I do visit if I'm in town. Most the people I knew when I was there have left though, so it's not as fun, and all the animals are different as well hahaha
