Hehe, don't we all love Tetris? I know i do, i have two of them downloaded on my 3DS (one being the original Game Boy version and the other, being Tetris Axis).

It could actually be my all-time favourite game, now that I think of it.  It's one of the few games that withstood the test of time (for me).  Monopoly is on this list too, but much further down.  I think I first started to play it on the first Nintendo gaming system.  And it was awesome.  But as you advanced through the levels and the game got faster and faster, you had to learn to play by instinct.  If you put one iota of thought into it, you were dead.

I've had other versions of Tetris on my PC, tablets, etc. but they just weren't the same.  Maybe it's available for my PS3; that will be better.  I even recently bought a Bop-It Tetris game.

But how could you stand playing Tetris on a small screen?

Simple, i've done it many times before when i played the original Tetris on Game Boy back in 1989. And i've done it again with Tetris DX, Tetris Plus and Tetris 2 on Game Boy Color, as well as Tetris DS AND Tetris Axis on DS, DSi and 3DS (for Axis only).

To say you're a Tetris fan is an understatement!    Personally, I've just never been fond of handheld gaming systems.  Maybe it's because my eyes get cross-eyed or something.

Oh well, not everybody is into handhelds. That's understandable.

Hmmmm....perhaps I need to brush up on my Tetris skills so I can teach her how to play!  Excellent work!

LOL.  And thanks (though I'm not completely satisfied with the outcome -- had problems finding the right lighting, trying to have a decent/casual outfit, finding decent yet different textures, etc. -- maybe I just worked on it for too long...  ).

LOL!  I have the same frustrations!  I think I spend more time tweaking the settings of light, mats, shadow, colors, reflections, etc. than I actually spend setting up the scene itself.  And then every now and then, some magic happens when I hit the render key and I nail it (at least to my satisfaction) first or second time around.  All I can tell you is that I am still very much an amateur but this is such a fun hobby to play with!  Work through the frustrations and keep practicing...still, though it may not be exactly what you had hoped for, I think it is a fantastic piece!

I really liked the concept (the Tetris pieces were available for free at Content Paradise) and I did not want to start over.  Plus I did not want to go back to something skimpy and have a latex appearance.  I did not want to be a one-trick pony.

As for me, I spend most of my on finding the right pose and tweaking it.  Usually I settle upon a different pose than what I had in mind.  Then from the most time consuming to the least (on average):  clothing and hair, lighting, mats and environment.  I have wasted many an hour on this hobby.  While I enjoy it, other parts of my home have suffered from time-to-time.

And thanks for the vote of confidence.

Again, likewise about hours spent and other stuff suffering. I think you and i are both perfectionists!

I'd like to believe that I'm an aspiring perfectionist but the final result is always just out of reach.
