A picture I did for a dear friend of a couple in her RP game. The neko is Savaana, one of her main characters, a rather rough about the edges ranger under the control of one twisted sorcerer... the white haired one in my character, Sammael, the former Angel of death, from my own story River Jordan who sorta got crossed into her story for some random reason. Oh well, they are so good together it doesn't matter. For awhile they were just on a villianious rampage together... she had found him chained to a stone bench and tree and actually had the will to set him free and they've been together ever since. Mind you... they have calmed down a lot and are now on the side of the good guys. They had a hard time getting to where they are now, and when I started this picture years ago (it was just a sketch on the inside cover on a university text book collecting dust) [link] they were having a hard time keeping their relationship hidden from her sorcerer master so they would just met in the garden where she released him... how adorable!Related content

Yeah I get that a lot with him, but really I'm not sure what else to do with him. His character needs to be overhauled so bad. Can't ditch the white hair or the red robe because mythologically they are the traits that mark the angel Sammael. Haha! I'll work on it if I ever have the time to go back to writing Azrael's story.

I'm such a freak for mythology about angels. Almost everyone of them has a certain set of things that mark them out, so when they appear in my story I try to bring in those factors. Like Abanndon having feet like a lion and brass armor plated like an incect or Sammael with his white hair, red robes and wings of flame. All the little things get me.

Thank you very much, I ended up plucking colors for the background by inverting the colors on the characters. I think it gave a nice tone to the green

I think I saw you working on this. It is really amazing. It's so cool that you can get the proportions down and make it look like they fit into their environment. Also i find it crazy that you can stick with characters for years and implement them into almost every project you do, very organic.

I had to play around a bit with blending modes and such to get it right... but in the end it was a good old fashon eraser tool
