Slimer from the Real Ghostbusters, my favourite cartoon growing up. I liked Slimer a lot more as a slobbering, mumbling pet type ghost, before he took over the show as one of the main characters and began to talk.Peter - "He slimed me."
Ray "Thats great! Actual physical contact."

Ah, yess, the little green glob of goo. I concur with everyone else's assessment thusfar--he (it?) was much better as a background character/pet than a main character.

Great job with Slimer. And I liked him too, but he was better as a background character, which is what he was intended to be, not the star.
