2014 was a really bad year for me art wise, one after another something would go wrong in the year that would prevent me from doing art. orz So here's everything I've amassed from 2014 that was usable in this sketch dump. I'm determined to be far more productive this year!Everything presented belongs to me besides two doodles of Peacock, Kiire 's lioden lion, and a stylized Zira. :V

Thanks Chelsea! Angry expressions are my favorite to draw since there's so much exaggeration you can do with the face. x) And yep that's Zira!

I am happy that you are interested in seeing them. ;u; Same here, I got so many things that I don't finish either, but I think that's what a sketchbook is about. It's a work book to figure things out and make mistakes in private, lol.
Just drawing a lot and practicing is a way for me to learn, really the only way to learn is to make tons of mistakes. xP Having fun and enjoying it is important too though. I get so caught up in anatomy and everything else. I think it's also important to tell a story, and make it interesting, just something I learned from my art lessons.
Next time I come to Colorado, we should both get the same sketchbook and just draw together. I miss those times when we used to go to the Aquarium and draw. ;u; Fun times. Welcomes. ;u; That's awesome. And me too. I got some designs I want to upload as well, probablyΒ will be uploaded on my other dA account.

Same. D: I get so caught up in the little pieces of my work that I never fully finish anything. That's what I've been trying really hard to stop doing and to just take it as I go along.

Β But if I am enjoying what I am doing people seem to notice more. Also I draw from reference, then put the reference away after I gained enough knowledge and try to draw from memory. Both memory and imagination are really important. Can't have one without the other. I feel like last year I improved more than I ever did.
Studying and drawing a lot, also failing a lot and just being afraid to fail is all part of the process of being an artist. If I am not afraid I feel like I should be worried cause there is no risk involved and I am not really learning or trying. It's normal to be nervous. Don't know if you knew this already, you probably do, just thought I'll share what i been learning.

Mage is a sore, sore loser, I swear. Can't let anybody else win once to break that winning streak. ;> (I'm p sure you drew 15% of my wives on this one picture. wtf. -scoops up the sirens, mage and peacock and runs away-)

2014 just plain sucked. :< So I'm glad it's behind now. Thank you so much though Willow! <3 I'm excited to get a lot done this year. :> I really want to keep a constant schedule of uploading and working on art this year!
