One extended Jeopardy theme later and patience on the commissioner's behalf, commission for ~Pikmanipulator of their two characters Nicholas (male artic fox on the left) and Rochana (female rat on the right).

These two characters are based on game model what I would assume be a kind of MMORPG- I forget the name of the game (or if it's still running any more), but if it looks familiar to you then there ya go.

[Update: The game's name was Earth Eternal.]

The background that there is is also based from a scene within the game, supposedly like a campsite, hence the tents.

Needing more work on backgrounds and perspectives (most likely anatomy too).
