Yes, but Deus Ex Human Revolution came out in 2011
I've just personally been replaying the game a lot, so almost literally everything I see with this kind of theme looks like it

Oh I've tried to play the original DX but... oi. Even the mod that was brought out that adds items and tactics didn't improve it enough for me to get through. I'll replay Half Life 1 which is from the same era/year, but... I prefer not to fight with the controls when I'm playing.
You should totally play Human Revolution and the new DX Mankind Divided, they're both remarkable games. I've dumped over 300 hours in the two of those, combined now... that's as much as I played Fallout 4 haha. Visually though, the modern Deus Ex games are incredibly well made. There are so many moments that I just lean back and think "this is what it would be like to play Blade Runner". With your design skills and talented technique you I think would appreciate it
