Last re-upload for a while! Finally managed to get this one up on dA too, hurrah. I'm actually quite fond of my little handman now, though the walk cycle portion was quite a pain.--
Here is what's been eating my life lately!
It'd be lovely to find out how you guys interpret this, I've got a smattering of various opinions so far which are pretty fascinating to hear.
This monster of a thing took under 1.5 weeks from concept to finish; you can see some concept doodles and other background stills on my tumblr here - [link] .

Girl, you're full of awesome! I really like it, especially the end scene. I interpret it as opening your own mind to experience everything beyond. . . or something of that nature

I love the simplicity of the style. I also quite like the effect given with sound. In the begining I was thinoing, quite nice, smooth animation... "the lack of sound makes it kind of annoying." and then, when the first sounds come trhough its a welcomed surprise. Love it.

But the unselttling begginning is part of what makes the end worck so great. So, not 'despite' the unsettling begining, but 'because of'.
