Bio:
Universe: Gamma is a brutal, cruel and hellish production line of villainy and terror, every bit as dark and crushing and mysterious as the seas themselves… but there was once a time it was more than that; a paradise of giants among men who admired strength in all its forms, and ensured the weak and defenseless had the skills and protection they needed to thrive. Sadly, the one person who remembers Universe: Gamma as how it was is not in a position to step in and straighten it out… much less himself.

Towering, worn-out, held together by cybernetics and nigh-impossible to predict, Sapphirus is a god of many faces; a chummy, rum-loving fellow happy to offer his staunch support to those he cares about and especially those who need it; a wily and silver-tongued con artist able to wire in even those he’s already suckered before; a fearsome and bowel-voidingly terrifying warrior with a temper as churning and violent as his domain. But the one we know most is that of a lazy and unambitious sleep addict stumbling through life, waiting for the next chance to snore his problems away. The man loves his sleep. If gods worshipped, then a good long nap is what he prays to. It certainly wouldn’t be a problem if he didn’t habitually sleep at inopportune times and in even MORE inopportune places. He could be strolling across a runway and then just keel over in the middle of it; at that point, not even running him over with a tank would get him back up.

But spend enough time with him, and it quickly becomes clear that what would be a truly irritating (and for many, it really is) personality quirk is, in fact, Sapphirus’s happy place; his only real escape from the reminders of his failings. But even with that, the memories of the Splintering stay to haunt him, the pain of his wounds his constant companion. Now lost in an era that’s forgotten all about him and his brethren, Sapphirus has nothing left but to claw out a new path and purpose. But given his luck, the enemies he’s made and the VAST list of hang-ups he struggles to work through, Solaris only knows how much WORSE it’ll get for him, before things begin to get better.

Toolkit:
Already a Sentinel of the Multiversal Network, Sapphirus is the god of strength and thus the physically strongest of his pantheon; his might far outclasses that of his brethren, even with them already possessing incalculably vast levels of power. Thus, he relies on brute force over his (surprisingly impressive) intellect. As the god of the sea, Sapphirus has complete divine authority over water and oceans; he can generate tsunamis capable of washing every last bit of civilization from an entire continent, create water from nothing, and even raise and lower sea levels; he can also use water for fast travel over vast distances and withstand any water pressure, no matter how crushing it may be. He also holds divine authority over all sea creatures, including fearsome monsters of myth; he can communicate with them directly, and induce them to ally with him or attack any threats; he mainly communicates with megalodons or krakens for the latter.

Sapphirus’s greatest weapon, however, is his cyborg arm, replacing the one he lost during the Splintering. it can deploy three large blades that act as a larger “hand”, and it is also equipped with a vast arsenal of weapons such as a cutlass, automatic gun, an ionic flintlock pistol, a flamethrower, and miscellaneous tools such as scissors and a series of highly-versatile pincers. As with all Sentinels, Sapphirus is immortal, does not age and is completely invulnerable to all conceivable weaponry and/or magic, but can die if the killing strike is done by another Sentinel. His time is an ornate trident called “Altumus”. Sapphirus can disperse his physical form and let the Timepiece absorb his essence into it, thus allowing anyone who wields the trident full access to his immense power. As with all supernatural entities, Sapphirus can cast a Manifest.

Sapphirus fought on the side of his mother during the Splintering. His Patron World Gigantimedes is the biggest known planet in the Multiversal Network, and was once a thriving ocean world teeming with millions of aquatic races. In the present, it is now a barren, rocky wasteland inhabited by the 90-meter tall, fire-breathing barbarian race known as the Grojirn... or, as the rest of the Multiversal Network calls them, the Titans.
