Description
What an inspired title!This was painted in acrylics on canvas board. I was feeling mildly uninspired and so painted a tiger, because I need more practice with cats.
I tried really hard to get a good picture of this, and it just did not happen. The colors were much smoother and more natural looking. I'm going to play around with this some more to see if I can get a better image. :/
But yeah...I screwed with the stripes a bit...because how could I resist?

hmmm, did you scan it? I hear people talking about that a lot. I'm always pretty satisfied with the "archiving" method of just taking a digital picture, and I know others who prefer this method, too...

Sadly it was too large to fit into the scanner, but I do try to scan when I can, I usually find it produces a better quality digital copy.

It's beautiful!! Especially those eyes ... and I still don't see where you messed up on the stripes.

I didn't really mess up...just modified them. It makes sense if you know my OCs. Lol, I don't know if you could mess up tiger stripes.

You're right, the colors looked way better in real life. The shadow of the canvas' texture got through the thin paint, it looks like.
