This kid gets a lot of love on the fan sites, so I kinda wish they would bring him back at some point. C'mon Blizzard; you did crazier things then this in 2018, this is comparibly sane. Make it happen.

Hello Blade-Fury, my name is Kevin and I'm a big fan of your drawings and fanarts about Overwatch. I want both this kid and Terry Crews' DoomFist in the game. I think Blizzard could both of them in the game without them being clones. Brain (this kid) could be a balanced fighter while Terry Crews' DoomFist could be more of a tank. My concern is that there would have to be more than one gauntlet.

As the youngest member of Overwatch, ??? is one of the strongest members of the team. Joining Overwatch after saving Tracer and fighting against Widowmaker, he wields the legendary Doomfist Gaunlet. He is a close combat character, although brittle, he's extraordinarily powerful in combat!

Glad I'm not the only one who liked this kid from the cinematic trailer.
I'll admit, Brian (apparently that's his name) was one of the things I liked about the trailer, because this game has a lot of interesting and unique characters, and it's kind of fun and interesting to see them from the perspective of normal civilians. Seeing Brian not care about Overwatch at first, unlike his little brother, then step in to use the gauntlet to help Tracer and Winston made me fond of him, since the whole incident seemed to have opened his eyes to the good that Overwatch can do. It was also pretty cool to see him use the gauntlet, and have Tracer inspire him a little bit with the words she said to him ("The world could always use more heroes"). I could care less if they actually made him a character in a future installment of the game, but it would be interesting to see them continue his story, maybe in another short, a comic/graphic novel, or in a regular chapter book.
Also, after watching the most recent Overwatch short "Hero" (which stars Soldier 76), I can kind of see Brian being paired with Alejandra, the young girl who gets caught up in an ordeal between Soldier 76 and the gang known as Los Muertos. I think Brian admire the heroes like his little brothers. But his heart broken when Overwatch was disband. That's why when see his heroes in bad situation, he don't hesitate to help them.

Yeah, I figured that he admired Overwatch before it was disbanded, so helping them after seeing them in a bad situation makes sense, and kind of restores his faith in them.

People wanting him to become the next DoomFist forget DoomFist was a villain. Thats why Reaper and Widowmaker wanted to steal it back. Hopefully DoomFist returns at some point as a global event / hero in the future, with the brothers making a return appearance / maybe getting inducted into OVERWATCH.
