Tested out making a Normal Fakémon, a Regional Variant Fakémon, now a Fossil Fakémon... I'd say the bases are covered.

Mossoth - The Fungal Sloth Pokémon
Recently revived from the ODD FUR fossil, Mossoth are small, relatively weak fighters who are quick to hide from anything that could cause them injury. Mossoth are, by nature, incredibly sensitive creatures, always looking for new ways to get praise from their parental figures, biological or otherwise. Male Mossoth tend to cover themselves in a thick layer of Moss to look bigger and tougher in the vain hopes that it'll scare off predators and impress any potential ladyfriends, the moss it covers itself in tends to grow flowers if it stays on for too long, the flower produces a pleasant smell. Female Mossoth prefer NOT to rub plant matter into their fur, they prefer to keep their fur clean and dirt free. Female Mossoth have a tendency to eat the delicious flowers that grow off of Male Mossoth's backs, while harmless, this causes the Male Mossoth to cry since they love these flowers.

Floratherum - The Ground Sloth Pokémon
Floratherum were hunted to extinction around 10,000 years ago for their meat and hide in the ancient Mosanto region. After their recent revival, a small breeding colony were placed in a remote jungle of the Hoenn region, an area which closely resembled it's former lush, jungle home, as a way to study it's natural behaviour. Floratherum, while big, are what's known as 'gentle-giants', they live and move together in large colonies of families, stripping trees of leaves to power them from their furnace-like stomachs. Floratherum appear to bond fast and grow especially affectionate VERY quickly for a normal Pokémon, not only to their own kind, but to everything else sharing their new territory. New studies have shown that while Floratherum are natural pacifists, the creatures they have bonded to must NOT be threatened, one report shows an Absol, which had previously bonded with a Floratherum, was being harassed by a Gyarados, a which point, the Floratherum emerged form the trees, walked up to the Gyarados and ripped it APART before checking on the Absol. Investigation is going underway to see if Floratherum will bond with Human trainers in the same way, if they can, they may be eligible for public trainers to use and train in the future.

Tough Claws - Boosts physical attacks by 33%
Grass Pelt - Boosts defence while battling on grass by 50%
Hidden ability:
Pickup - May pick up an Item after battle.
