I think I would want to hug Haytham more, just kidding. I would attack him and hug the hell out of him.
Too bad Connor had to be the damn main character :T
I like him but he annoys me for some reason I can't pinpoint. But team Haytham all the way, he oozes sexy *3*

Connor has some honorable qualities, but he's a little too naΓ―ve and whimsical. It's like he totally forgets man's capacity for complete evil, meanwhile Haytham seems to think that men will do nothing but evil, left to their own devices.
The two could take a big lesson from each other. But Personally, I like both... I want to say equally but I find myself leaning towards Haytham, mostly because Connor is ALWAYS so serious. Altair had the same stoic problem, Ezio on the other hand had an absolutely charming sense of humor. Especially in revelations when he went around singing. But Connor, he's just so stoic, meanwhile Haytham is BRILLIANT with intimidating you WHILE he makes an excellent point AND is a corporate smartass all in a one-line zinger. He's just COOL. There's no words to describe it.

Yep, he's a naive one ^_^ but I think it's cuz he's lived a largely isolated life, which was pretty much his early childhood in his village up to his Assassin lessons with Achilles. He hasn't experienced much of what the world outside his village and Homestead had to offer nor has he seen humanity in all of it's various shades. Because of this, his whimsical/childlike views of right and wrong only solidified as he grew older. Connor has a a more black n white outlook while Haytham sees in shades of gray.
AND I LOVE BOTH TOO!~ Equally lol.
I think Altair's stoicism stems from the fact that he grew up with the Creed, understood his responsibilities as an Assassin at an early age, and didn't have a family (just al Maulim for guidance). And Connor seemed to be a quiet/mature child even among his friends; it seemed to intensify after losing his mother and village. Ezio was lucky to have grown up in a big, loving family. Even though he lost two brothers and his father (bless his soul), he managed to keep his sense of humor/charm intact and was lucky to have a group of peoples that supported him (mother, sister, Leo and so on)
Ahh I'm sorry for dumping a massive essay on you, but I like to make wild character theories and I needed someone to bounce ideas off of (and you're my victim ) Yes, Haytham is an AMAZING Sassmaster Templar :3

EXACTLY, but I think Connor learns to incorporate more gray into his two-tone world, especially after meeting his father. Meanwhile, Haytham- who's not entirely evil, absolutely sees the world in terms of the word 'perception' it's like.... Haytham's the Templar- but he seems to understand the idea of 'Nothing is True' better than Connor. But Haytham seems to abuse it a little, to justify his selfish ideas, although Haytham is sort of a shade of grey himself, because while he does selfish things, he doesn't do it with selfish motivation
Altair stoicism can be blamed on his childhood, but at the same time, it's just a character trait. Most funny people have always been that way. A portion of a man's character is because of his upbringing, but mostly it's just who they are. Connor I think lacked a purpose, and he was one of those people meant to do greater things, and I think he sort of found himself when he started completing his work as an assassin. I think losing his mother sucked, but I get the vibe that somewhere he knew it was the way of the world, and it was the catalyst to something. Everyone seems to think that because Ezio was raised in good family, he's a little better off- I think it was crueler. Because unlike Connor- he wasn't a hybrid, he had a path in life and he was an attractive kid, and a smart kid- and a nobleman, he had a good lot in life, and people he loved to share it with, and he was ripped from it in one night AND to boot, he then was shoved into a world with no answers guidance or help and he had to be creative enough to forge a completely new direction. I think if anyone had the toughest time and showed the most growth it was Ezio. I think Ezio is over-looked because he was Ubisoft's playboy, but he was just as much noble hero as the rest of them, if not more than. And see to me, it seemed more like Ezio took up mantle as caretaker for his family and provider as well. Men don't express their sorrows the way we do, they internalize them, he seemed to confide in his sister, but I think that was something exclusive he did with Claudia, and not necessarily with all of his comrades. Most of them were friends of Ezio the assassin, and not Ezio the man after all.
Don't be sorry, I love this kind of conversation. Yeah, I would have some serious Assassin orgies if these guys truly existed.... I'd prolly just hit my knees by pure reflex in their presence.... did I say that out loud?

Oh, sorry about all that. Yeah, it's lucky that Hurricane Sandy wasn't as brutal as expected. You holding up all right?
But, hugging Connor makes everything better, including this picture. (Very nice, btw)
