A creepy castle painted as a present for a close friend. It's paired with the creepy woods painting and they hang opposite each other. The castle is the view from the woods, and the woods are the view from the castle. There will eventually be two other paintings to form a 360 degree landscape, hopefully!Related content

I do like this a lot, I'm drawn to the dark, sinister, eerie and macabre. I also love architecture, especially churches, cathedrals and castles so this appeals in 2 aspects. Is it watercolour? Just found it odd that it camera information to the right of the page lol. Either way, the deep muted shades or grey and purple; the hills and clouds blending into one stormy landscape conjure up images of the wicked witch or queen in fairytales from my youth and the gnarled trees framing the painting draws your eyes inward to the focal point. Good job!
