Description Hercules/Heracles draped with the skin of The Nemean Lion, with The Lernean Hydra rising behind him during his second labour.

I've been thinking of doing a series of pieces on legendary figures, so depending on feedback from this, I may give it a go.

Wow that's freaking good. I need to ask you something, I just have a project on Hydra and I need to do a scene where Hercules kills Hydra. How does he kill Hydra, and what color should I color Hydra? Do you think Green would do good? More revelant to the real Hydra? Thanks!

Thanks very much, sorry about the late reply. I think there's variations on the story, but as far as I'm aware as he cut off each head, Heracles held a torch to the wound to cauterize it and stop it from regrowing. As far as colour, I don't think there's any info on its colour, its really just your own preference. I chose green just as a sort of reptilian trait, even purple used in the animated Hercules worked really well. I hope that helps on your project, and good luck.

can you try and maek a story where hercules is a king of an ancient english city called Camelot and he loves his little daughter who wants to become a knight of his round table.  She accompanies him on his twelve labours and he protects her from danger but she loses her life after they completed them.

Definitively do the series. This is really well done, and I think that anyone who knows mythology will be pleased by this. Curious to who may come up next.

If you don't mind, I would love to know who else you plan on drawing.

I think I may go with Achilles next, but in the long run I hope to do pieces on Odysseus, Theseus, Perseus, Jason, and hopefully branch out from just the Greek legendary figures and bring in the likes of Beowulf and Thor for example. Thank you for commenting I really appreciate it, I probably wouldn't have bothered with the series otherwise.

Your welcome. Besides, I was just being honest, and from the list, I really am interested. I was hoping that you would go for Beowulf. Granted, there are just so many great heroes in the world, that it's very hard to choose.
