will you please give me some tips to use photoshop cs2, to edit like what you did in this photo?

I did all this editing in camera raw. if you use raw files this sort of thing is relatively easy, its trickier with jpg, but without seeing what you're working with its difficult to give pointers on it.

okay thanks, i have shots here. i think it will be better off if i put some effects to it first before posting it here.but the thing is i'm still learning photoshop. i will upload all my shots soon and i will let you know when the pictures are up. i'm looking forward to your opinion and pointers. thanks so much friend!

it's good to know that there's someone who can help me. thanks i really appreciate it.
i uploaded some of my shots all of them are unedited and stock pictures all are camera effects not by any other software. i think the clouds, sunset, and beach table needs some photoshop help/effect like what you did in your melon high photo. it's still missing a crisp of effect.
please tell me what you think.
ps: going to upload more photos.

Ok, I did some photoshop on those 3 photos you mentioned. Here they are:
Clouds: [link]
Sunset: [link]
Beach: [link]
And just so you know I think these are awesome shots compositionally. The beach is my favourite.
Ok so my thought was I could email you the .psd files I used and you could see for yourself what I did. How do you feel about that John?

okay friend you can email me the .psd files so i can learn from it and play around with photoshop. here's my email 6uit4rist@gmail.com
thank you so much! i will upload a copy of those pictures here in deviant and i won't forget to give credit to you. thanks again and please add me to your friends list here.

thanks i received the email you sent me.
as i watch tutorials on photoshop, i got an idea
it has to do with saturation, hue, shadows
and all that. im going to review how you did
your editing and compare it to the videos that
i watched. by then i should be better to edit my own.
i appreciate your time helping me out, thank you so much.
regards,
John

cool john. just so you know i am using photoshop cs4. I used one adjustment layer tool in particular that is not available on previous versions, the Vibrance tool, and that might cause a problem viewing on older versions.
worth1000.com is a great site for tutorials.

pretty awesome perspective. i think i might like it even more without the dodging of the skater. that way less detail of the pants and no halo around the skater. not sure though

i did the halo on purpose because i liked the surreality and seperation it gave it, almost angelic against the clouds. \\
wasnt sure about the doging the pants but in the end it looked better than a big dark lump. as a silhouette its much less interesting, especially given the colour scheme
