He is a Fusion of the shattered Remnants of Goldor's Golden Crystal, and An unborn kidΒ belonging to Princess/Queen Sara

n some ways, its more a story about Sara, then a story about him. He sorta has his own side story, Goldor, the four Light Warriors (Luneth, Arc, Rerfia, Ingus) are in it, as is "The Painting of Lakshmi" from Final Fantasy 6, although Chadarnook is not, just the Goddess Lakshmi. which Goldor is in possession of. There is a new villian specific to his particular FanFic, some new side characters,Β and so on.
He starts off a regular blue Crystal, when he is brought to life, an object like a tadpole grows inside him, he turns into an object more Humanoid and then turns Human completely. He has a "sleeping state" where his Crystal body encapsulates his Human body with his arms accross his chest like he is laying in a casket, only upright.

Eh, it started as an IRC Roleplay that was an excuse to see Sara naked. (Sara being between the ages of 25 and 45 as the story progressed. At 31, SaraΒ got tied up naked to a post by the Wind Crystal as a form of Public Humiliation. She has two kids, her son Burai, and daughter Cassandra. Burai actually left Sasune after Sara died, built a Pagoda in Fargabaad, and married a random shrine maiden. Alot of people consider this part of the story "Flour Tasting Anime."
Burai was created when Goldor hired Sara to eliminate a demon from the painting of Lakshmi. She was pregnant at the time with a child of a man named Trent Marcien. Who was a servant at Sasune Castle. Goldor offered her more pay if she could fix the Gold Crystal Luneth Shattered.Β

I find it really hard to find really detailed art of FFIII! This really looks great ^_^ I just love the people who have been turned into gold.

What a gorgeous piece of artwork!
I've always wondered what the story behind this guy was. It's a shame they don't develop the villains much in the older FFs. (Nowadays they do precisely the opposite, but that's another story.)
Very atmospheric, and it does a great jpb of taking advantage of the open-endedness of early FF designs. It's also quite reminiscent of Amano, but not in a derivative way, if that makes any sense. It feels like something he would envision.
