1: A writer from the show only got maybe 10 emails thinking Derpy's eyes were offensive;
2: The same writer got about 200 emails giving praise that Derpy's eyes - and name - WERE in the show;
3: Hasbro decided to go with redoing the scene;
4: Derpygate was a lot of people saddened and sometimes lashing out irrationally over it.Β
5: I wonder if people thought Derpygate was a case of being given a beautiful gift and then it being destroyed.
