Description A brilliant pear shaped labradorite cabochon hand wrapped in silver-plated wire. This one of a kind piece will change in color as you turn it. Catching the light at varying angles gives a slightly different hue. In natural light, vibrant blues will appear. With electric light, the stone will take on a green and green-blue shade.

Labradorite can appear dark at first, until it is moved. Depending on the angle, the stone can flash in various shades of blues, greens, reds, purples, and many other colors. This effect is called labradorescence, meaning the colors "move" on the stone. This is caused by refractive layers within the stone. It is completely natural and cannot be reproduced.

This necklace's name was based off a fictional character, in case you were wondering.

Thanks! I think silver goes really well with lots of colors since it is pretty neutral.

Oh I can see what you mean! Now I'm tempted to make a butterfly pendant. Hmm
