A FedCom Civil War era Combined Arms "Light" Regiment.|

Col. Mario "Koopa" Cooper founded the Troopas after leaving the Davion Light Guards, post Operation Bulldog. A gifted light mech pilot and "blitzkrieg" tactician, he was given a salvaged Smoke Jag Adder/Puma to replace his lost Wolfhound after the Great Refusal.

Arriving on Outreach in mid 3061, by Xmas 3061, Mario had recruited a full light Mech Company, backed by a Company of Light Armor, 2 Platoons of Infantry and 4 ASF.

After 2 successful lightning raid contracts, the Troopas now boasted a full Battallion of Armor, and had added a company of VTOLs , while bringing their ASF force to a full Company.

Unsurprisingly, the Troopas backed Prince Victor during the Civil War, being shipped across multiple fronts to sow chaos, execute lightning raids and generally keep Katherine's loyalists off balance and second guessing where they were going to hit next.

While they took a pounding like most units in the war, they had returned to approximately 85% strength, and were on Outreach recruiting, when the Word of Blake launched the opening salvos of the Jihad. Their status since is currently unknown.
