I remember this ship, mostly for the (in-universe) story behind it! I had the "Azhanti High Lightning" boxed set, way back when I played the original Traveller; let's see how good my memory is...
When the Lightning-class frontier cruisers were planned, there was to be one cruiser named for each frontier sector. One cruiser was designated for the Spinward Marches, but funding for its construction had been diverted. The Duke of Regina put forth the idea of the ship being completed with funds raised from within the Marches, and many schoolchildren throughout the Marches held fundraisers to raise the funds to see the ship completed. When Emperor Strephon heard about their efforts, he authorized a special expenditure to complete the ship, and when it was commissioned, named it "Children of the March" in their honor.
This was an anecdote mentioned in the "Lightning-class Cruisers" supplement that was included in the boxed set; it's things like this that make the Traveller universe one of the richest, most vibrant universes I've ever experienced in a role-playing game, and will always be a favorite of mine. Your art has done the ship - and the Traveller universe - proud. Well done, sir; well done, indeed.
