Description If there was ever a word to describe Lakshmi, it would be Opportunistic.

While many Kalashmites fled west during the fall of the Empire, several families remained behind, forming tribes of roving desert nomads.
It is these tribes that often fall prey to raiders, who often sell the fairer of their spoils to the Slavers of House Yassar.

Lakshmi is one such captive, but unlike many of her brethren, maintains a positive outlook for Par'Dis is a kingdom of opportunity and even a lowly slave can find themselves in lesser positions of power and influence.

Ever prudent, Lakshmi was quick to submit to the lash, making her transition to slavery relatively painless and making use of her quick wits and sharp mind, absorbed every lesson the House Yassar trainers imparted like a sponge, from etiquette to dance.

Utilizing her grace and charm, she caught the attention of Kaseem, the youngest son of House Yassar, known for his flights of fancy as he added her to his personal harem, which, as she learned from long-standing household staff, are frequently left to their own devices as the young master was often away wooing Priestess Hua of House Zhuangzi.

Due to her acquiescence and capability, Lakshmi earned herself the privilege to wander the Yassar Estate freely and would, from time to time, accompany Kaseem on his visits to the other houses, where she could form a network of contacts amongst the other slaves, from the dancers of House Sulaiman to the servants of the palace kitchens.

House Zhuangzi however, served a different purpose; as her master was often distracted by the priestess, she would wile away time in the great library, where in a dark and secluded corner, she uncovered the writings of Priestess Hua, who kept a record of the various martial traditions and histories of the races.

There she read an unbiased and objective research on the history of the Kalashmite Empire, the former seat of her people.
The chapter that particularly caught her eye were several passages regarding the lost art of Kamashtanga, a tantric fighting style utilized by the Immortal King's favoured consorts who would duel for their master's amusement.

Sensing an opportunity, she studied the style exhaustively during every visit, often using her fellow slaves as less-than-willing training dummies during cold, lonely nights.
After months of practice, a whisper in her master's ear was all she needed to gain entry into the Flesh Pits, a makeshift arena where slaves, slathered in alchemical aphrodisiacs, wrestled for the amusement of the crowd and their masters. It was there that she found herself in her element, utilizing her newfound techniques.

Following a string of victories, she had convinced Kaseem that such a sport deserved greater elevation in status and that it would be in House Yassar's interests to sponsor such events on a regular basis and soon began carving a niche as a pleasure-fighter flying the red and gold of her masters.

Having risen and fallen several times over the months, Lakshmi's future seems secure within the top three combatants of the Pits.
However, whispered rumors amongst the slaves have caught her attention.

Word has it that a consort of the Immortal King yet lives and is making a bid for the throne; a Kalashmite woman of indeterminate age known only as the Thief of Hearts.
If she could find this woman, yet more options could open up for Lakshmi.

Aiding the Thief of Hearts could help restore her people to their former glory and she could have her revenge on the slavers who beat and chained her.

Capturing the Thief, an individual wanted by the crown could elevate her status considerably, perhaps even granting her freedom and her own place of power in the upper echelons of the kingdom.

If there was ever a word to describe Lakshmi, it would be Opportunistic.

Ta, 'n' ta fer the fave!

Funnily enough it seems like Lakshmi's outfit is a lot more popular than Sati's.

Man, if I knew that such a simple design would garner so much attention, I'd never have put this much work into Sati's outfit design. This thing is a pain in the arse to draw! XD

A dancer turned in a fighter, great. Dance on the faces of your opponents till they beg for mercy.

... but how do they beg if you're standing on their faces? o_0

When she dances she lifts of course her leg also like here in the pic. So the opponent can speak. When I see her right foot in vertical position I think a good idea would also be when the opponent opens her mouth to beg she sticks her toes inside and says "Shut up"

Always the question. Are you the loser or the winner. The evaluation of the situation can differ.

of course, beautiful, barefoot, exotic female fighters. What need somebody more?

The question is, when she dances, how can I get her to fight me?Β

Me: "Lakshmi, I love it to see you dance. I have a fetish to see ugly woman dance."

She stops and looks stunned at me. "What?"

Me: "Lakshmi, you must not grieve, it is not bad to be ugly. Not every woman can be so beautiful like (I call the name of herΒ hottest competitor)"

She, now looking very angry: "When you still take one times the word ugly in your mouth, I kick your teeth out!"

Me: "Lakshmi, what is wrong to be ugly"

Wham. The moment her foot crashs in my face I know I have my fight.

I think most people who'd wanna fight her just sign up for the tournament.

Actually despite all the royalty and nobility, my setting doesnt actually have a princess; the closest would probably be Sati here:
