Days of cold, dark, freezing temperatures below - 0 C.Flora and Fauna is deprived of a decent living - so we call that spring...
Its April spring time in Switzerland but almost no sun, freezing... Shivering no live its like winter...
We've to wait it out, I feel sorry for the birds they are hungry. We feed them of course...
Seagulls hoover over our house in search of food... Oh I wish so much it will be over soon...

Now we've over 6 months of winter! Nasty icy winds with freezing nights. In between
two days of beautiful spring (a silly tease) while I took this pic...
And now this: fog, fog freezing it sucks up all your energy... The vegetation is 3 weeks
behind and I was so eager to plant and we planned doing a new

Yeah I still like them very much so. It was one of my first vinyl and of course her voice is something

They were purple... 
but those icy and chilly winds sucked up all the color in me too...
Our vegetation is at least 3 weeks behind... No worries
about the rose bushes, if you do it now it will be ok for June.
Usually the fruit trees should be trimmed already 2 months ago (in February) as the
sap is now going into the branches and gives them the strength. I think
its not much different in your Country (your specific climate zone) otherwise
you would have trimmed the rose bushes already.
