my fwb bought me the sonic series humble bundle over the weekend
and i spent most of it beating them all so i present to you...
a bastard!

id: they / she / he
- although she doesn't really have much of a preference, she prefers going by the respective pronouns
of either form; when she takes on the form of dust, her preference shifts from she > he or a neutral "they"

type: energy (chaos) user / speed type / dark / (chaotic) neutral
- can harness chaos energy to generate a speed boost from both the heels and soles of her shoes,
propelling her either forwards, upwards, or both directions, depending on her trajectory

hidden ability - switch: her ring bracelets allow her to store additional energy: she can infuse this extra energy to change
her form at will, but for only 30 minutes to an hour at a time (if she really pushes herself, although this can cause undesirable side effects).
she mostly uses this additional energy to manifest an alternate male-presenting form of herself she's lovingly deemed "dust" (ash & dust. ash-F & dust-M. get it?)

dust is his own identity with differing thoughts, feelings and opinions from ash, and therefore while their personalities may be similar, they are not the same.
they merely share a vessel; they have been together since they came into existence and share a symbiotic relationship - to utilize and build on the skills they've honed as a unit,
and fill in any vulnerable areas left by the other.

**neither ash nor dust have genitalia in their canon universe

dust, being the other half of ash, has capabilities ash either cannot reach or utilize, to make up for what she
lacks - and unlike ash, can adapt to both speed and flying types, depending on whichever is needed by his team.

likes:
- sonic
- lux & crim (her teammates/friends)
- pissing off the hero team
- lovingly raising their chao
- eating wcdonalds
- relaxing, sleeping

dislikes:
- overtly "good" characters
- authority, being told what to do, being nagged
- noise (becomes violent when exposed to excessive loud noise)

i hope i eventually commission people to draw her because i genuinely love this character lol
