It was really just a portfolio piece I did over ten years ago in hopes of getting some Batman work.

At the time I was very influenced by Tim Burton's Gotham City. A great mix of Baroque and Roccoco architecture.

I did get Batman work later but it had little to do with this sample and others.

I'm busy inking a Brave And The Bold story arc (issues 19-22) on Doug Braithwaites pencils and colored by Brian Reber
First issue out in November.

I love your style of drawing and inked.
I always have a lot of troubles inking my drawings, could you give me some advices please?

The best advice I can give is learn to draw in ink. Think of inking as an embellishment or finish to your drawing. Instead of doing a super tight pencil drawing try and pick up the pen and make that final line ink instead.
Technique is secondary and will come naturally in time.

Finally try sketching straight in ink, no pencil. It will give you more confidence in drawing in ink.

Don't worry about mistakes. There's always whiteout or paint .
