"気が強い/Strong Willed"The brushes where the hardest part of the entire image. I original was using someone else's brushes but I felt really uncomfortable using someone else's stock on top of that so I decided to make my own.

I like this alot. It's great, but he doesn't look very focused on anything, almost like he's not really there, just a shell.
Even still, it's a great piece and you did a very good job with the brushes.

This is such a beautiful piece, it's enchanting and made me curious. I wanted to see more and know more about it, and let me say that not many photographs/manips do that. I really feel like there's a story behind this. And as for the mood you were going for I think you hit it spot on, pretty and hopeful yet with a slightly darker edge to it.

This piece and its title made me think of something Bruce Lee said "Notice that the stiffest tree is most easily cracked, while the bamboo or willow survives by bending with the wind.". This piece is so calm and graceful that it makes me think of being strong willed not through "hard" things... but through adapting and swaying with the forces, using their energy to make yourself a stronger person... if that makes sense... what it reminds me of anyhow hehe.

Is Bruce Lee a hero of yours? I've always noticed the quote by him your signature on dA. I love what you said, I think it and the quote kind of fits me.
I hid some stuff in this image, I've only told one other person about it but I'm such a blabber mouth. At the top of the image it says in faint letters, "僕の子供" or "My Child" and in the left hand corner the number "57," since this was my 57th piece in my gallery.

I like a lot of his writings, he was very aware of the world. How things truly were. People get caught up in things that don't really matter, all the while they let fall to the ground the things in life which truly are important. I think he saw how things really were, and built his philosophy around that, more impressive is he lived that philosophy. I suppose he is a hero of sorts, I endeavor to reach the balance, vision and open mindedness he exuded. I'm glad you liked the quote and the meaning behind it, it is the first thing I thought of when I saw the piece and the title
