Today 50 years ago, the Beatles first and only animated feature premiered at the London Pavilion on Piccadilly Circus, July 17th, 1968.. and it was called the Yellow Submarine. Based on a song John and Paul wrote and sung by Ringo in 1966. This film has become a beloved classic in casual movie goes and animation lovers eyes and hearts, including mine. This film is well known for it's colorful cast of characters and environments, it's top notch songs and animation and imaginative concepts, today it celebrates it's 50th birthday by returning to the big screen in the UK and US for a limited time, and giving new generations an experience they'll never forget.

OK now with that out of the way, OMG THIS TOOK SO LONG -flops- I just finished this about an hour ago and as much as it gave me hell in some parts, I'm so glad it came out as well as it did óvò This movie my GOD this movie, it is so amazing and it honestly has really made a huge impact in my life. I have no idea how life would be if I never saw YS, but I'm sure it would be rather different, idk

I actually saw the movie again during it's theatrical rerelease a few days ago and MAN was it fun! It was nice to get a refresher on what I'm very sure has to be my favorite animated film Oo I WOULD go into detail on the things that this movie has done for me, buuuut I think I'll save that for my 6th anniversary of seeing the movie for the first time <:
