Description Between 1918–1925 Allied Powers sent troops to intervene in the Russian Civil War to help the Czechoslovak Legion, of securing supplies of munitions and armaments in Russian ports, and try to re-establishing the Eastern Front and also, to a lesser extent, to support some of the allied-forces that had been trapped within Russia after the Bolshevik revolution. But do divided objectives and war-weariness from  World War 1. Together with the Czechoslovak Legion evacuation in September 1920, these factors compelled the Allied powers to end North Russia and Siberian interventions in 1920. Still, the Japanese intervention in Siberia continued until 1922, and the northern half of Sakhalin was occupied until 1925.
