Ok so a bit of change in my gemsona. Not design this time, just story.
So I decided it'd be best if Tourmaline was a homeworld gem instead of crashing on earth. She's still obsessed with human culture but have never visited the place.
She's pretty doubtful about the way gem society is, but decides to just let it be.
Since she's not really cut out for combat, she's working in an archive, organizing stuff about gem history and such.
Pretty boring job, so even tough she says she's fine with a quiet life, she's secretly waiting to get out of that stuffy place.

As for why this was necessary, I'm planning to draw her more, and this background gives me more opportunities. Bit hard since we know so little about Homeworld but eh. Worst case scenario, the show proves me wrong in stuff but whatever.xD
