Description
Costume, wig and wings all by me. The only thing I bought was the boots (and the heel lifts inside them to make me taller)Made this kit in a matter of days.
Still need to decorate the sword hilt and plump out a skirt a little maybe but otherwise happy with it.
Wings are made from acetate and wire.
Wigs are 2 sewn together with heavy styling.
Belt is from Resin, Foam and PVC.

Acetate and Wire,
I didn't use a tutorial as I did the system myself, but I am happy to post one at a later date if you wanted?

acetate? is that almost the same as cellophane gift wrap? i saw some tutorials and they used cellophane...
i just ont know what to buy ;__;

Cellophane is like giftwrap yes, Acetate however is the clear plastic you see on doll boxes. It comes in various weights, like paper has gsm, acetate has micron. I used 2 sheets of the heaviest I could find which was 600 micron. The wire goes across the top and forms the slot thats the harness. The silver decoration is drawn on in sharpie (cus I'm classy like that).
Cellophane ones needmost of the vein work from wire first. Then heating up. Alot of the pro ones use fantasy film though, which from what i gather is thicker cellophane, so theoretically, layering up your cellophane will work, but the heat with make it wrinkle up with does look awesome.
I'm making a random set of cellophane wings for practice and commission purposes, so when it's done I woulld be happy to show them to you and you can see which you would prefer?
Something else I was gonna do with mine was put a sheet of irridescent cellophane on the back to pick up the light... so you could do this if you wanted ? xx

Yup! 14th Feb it came out ^^ It's on DVD in the US very soon, dunno about here in the UK... I hope it's soon. XD
