I went for some semi realistic flames because I wanted to capture her personality somewhat.

The pose is really nice on this one and I love the flames!
Golly looks like she is ready to go down in flames and is willing to take anyone with her. A true queen wrapped in her own flames.

I really like the pose in this and the fire looks awesome! There is a lack of shading in this piece though. So adding more darker purples will help bring that out.
Did you do this in pastels or watercolor pencils?

Thank you for the tip, in hindsight I totally should have done that!
I did it in watercolor pencils and it was so hard to find the right color that shading the piece didn't come to me XD.
