I know what you mean I hate po in LOA because of that, I'm soo glad it's not just me. To be honest I'm not a big fan of po really because I got attached to Tigress and with the fact that I fount that how could a flabby fat panda learn kung fu in weeks better than the furious five who have been training for yrs is a bit unrealistic.

Ah but if you think about it Po is an obsessed fan-boy of kung fu and, according to the creators of the movie, could almost be considered a natural at it because of the fact that he's so obsessed with it. He's got to be like 30 right? So if you spend almost all that time studying kung fu even if not applying it correctly there is no way in hell that you haven't learned something...he just has a hard time applying it because of the fact he was a lazy panda.

I love Tigress too but I can't really say that I don't like Po because I'd be lying. I love how epic Tigress is and how goofy and epic Po can be...but I hate his stupid or creepy fan-boy moments because they make me go

yeah agreed they make his fan moments are far too far fetched. I see where your coming from with him being a fan and trying to learn it but I'm still not convinced because the five had started from young so they would have at least done it about 20+ yrs of training. I just think it's unlikely that he could get to a level just below, the same or above the five in weeks to defeat tai lung just doesn't sound realistic to me maybe a year of training with shifu I'd find it more beliveable. Like the 2nd movie is based around 2yrs later I've read he is pretty on par with the five which sounds about right to me anyway. I surpose it maybe because he is a fat panda it made me look at it differently if u know what I mean. Yet still no change in weight in the 2nd movie but I think I'm just being a bit picky about that on and it is dreamworks. Love 2nd film found nothing wrong with it of course better graphics by that time and to tell u the truth I'm taking kung fu panda 2 in 3d today!!!

I wish Tigress had told po what she was going to say on the boat, I strongly think that it was to say she was adopted. but I see where your coming from when me I'm in my teens and I'm into to trains and plans I've already flown a plane. Had no training like po just self trained myself on flightsim. So you are right, I dont know it might be done in weeks if po belives enough I wouldn't know I dont know anything about kung fu so I can only go on my opion. Anyway look forward to hearing from you in the future.

I'm not really sure what Tigress would've said on the boat. Cuz Po already knows she was adopted. I think she was going to say something along the lines of "I wasn't always hardcore" or something like that. I forget if I read it or if I heard the creators say it when I watched KFP2 with their commentary but I heard somewhere that Tigress was kind of surprised that her friends thought of her as unfeeling when it comes to anything.

I don't think she ever told him, he's probably such a fanatic that he found all the history of them. But yeah in the Secrets of the Furious Five Po somehow knew all their histories and it wouldn't make sense for the directors to have her saying that when Po's response would ruin the whole moment...at least thats what I think.
