Those who know Ryuki off-camera are constantly reminded of how competitive he is in almost everything he does. He constantly strives to not only best himself, but others as well since growing up with equally competitive siblings has practically crafted the young man he is today. Ryuki is almost constantly intense around others even when he doesn't mean to be, which normally doesn't show in his videos since they're usually focused on his dancing and more relaxed in nature. Dancing and being openly active in general have always been good outlets for him to relieve his worries, as he normally finds himself concerned about how others see him, making him uncomfortably tense more often than not. He's almost somewhat of a perfectionist to nearly a crippling extent, but these traits have mostly been driving him to success for as long as he could remember, so he hardly sees them as flaws. However, it's difficult for Ryuki to handle criticism very well and normally ignores it, which visibly affects his chances at improvement and reaching his ultimate goal to become an idol. He's recently realized this about himself, and is struggling to be a better sport about certain subject matters.

Ryuki was born with two older brothers and one older sister, the complete baby, in every sense of the term, of a very outgoing family. Even as a child, Ryuki had always been the most energetic and excitable of all his siblings, much like his parents. Although he tended to struggle in school a lot, he has always tried his best and finds himself succeeding in his efforts more often than not with the help and encouragement of his parents. Ryuki was practically raised outdoors with how active his parents seemed to be, regularly going camping, hiking, and doing other activities with his family, and he didn't mind at all.

Ever since he was little, Ryuki has always been fascinated with music and the performing arts. He never used to be very confident when it came to his own skills, but at the same time he never found himself as passionate about much else, so he wanted to try something, anything, involving music. But singing was difficult, and instruments were complicated to learn for him. However, something he found that was able to meet his needs musically above all else was dancing. In addition to that, it was soon he found his love of being in the spotlight. Living in such a remote city growing up, the teen never got many opportunities to show off his own skill very often and, like how many other internet personalities started, he began to rely on social media to put himself out there. To nobody's surprise, Ryuki found himself very passionate of this hobby of his, showing off his videos to his classmates and teachers every now and then and even performing for his junior school during events and small festivals. He grew into his passion more and more, and it showed as he began to gather a small following of his own that had started in his own small city. It only fueled his love for attention, and it was then he realized he wanted more than anything in his life to be a full time entertainer. As he kept on maintaining his following on social media, and soon enough even earning money from it to help his family, he started to audition for dance agencies. He figured it would be easy enough to achieve his dream while he already had somewhat of a name for himself, but keeping up with school and realizing he was boxing himself into a bubble of social media popularity, he found it harder than he thought.

In the midst of his efforts and research, he eventually received word from one of his parents' friends about a school called Eisei Gakuen: a high class institution made for young celebrities and scholars. Young celebrities? Why, that sounded just like him! Around this time, Ryuki figured this would be a step in the right direction if he were exposed to a school where he could make connections with people who were in the position that he wanted to be in life. But as he enrolled after begging his parents to move with him closer to the school, he found his efforts were cut a bit short. He'd be able to attend, being wealthy enough for the tuition, but he wasn't allowed to apply to STAR courses despite his growing name, which was a big hit to his pride. Despite this, his parents didn't want his efforts to go to waste and convinced him to attend. It didn't mean he couldn't make the connections he wanted after all. As he now enters the institution as a 2nd year, Ryuki hopes his presence here will be worth it...it was a cool school after all..even though they would totally regret not representing him as one of their 'STAR' faces. (...he thinks bitterly--)
