One of them is an evil man who managed to fool the authorities by seeming normal, allowing him to continue his unethical and/or illegal works of art.
The other is Stefano Valentini.

My friend and I actually have this AU where they met at an art gallery and became acquaintances, then Stefano decides to visit Jefferson out of the blue and finds him in his dark room. Naturally Jefferson wanted to get rid of him at first till Stefano admitted that hey, he killed people for his artwork. Then they started collaborating on some pieces together.
As of now they're roommates (due to Stefano being in Oregon longer than he anticipated while waiting for the hype to die down in Krimson City) and has started as a substitute teacher at Blackwell.
Annnnnd that's not even delving into all the hijinks that happen in-between (such as mix-ups and misused words because Stefano's first language isn't English, based on the canonical evidence in his one note how he appears to have trouble with sentence structure, there's a post on tumblr that explains it)
