Another pic from Mutiny Go! Cosplay's ([link] ) One Piece Strong World photoshoot with the incredible *Risachantag (kindly assisted by the amazing ~rallamajoop and ~Shastachan ) at the beginning of June. This one's me and my sis. We love the way Usopp and Luffy like to clown around a bit like brothers, so it's fun to cosplay them together. ~Veleven did a great job of cleaning this one up - I can't take any credit for how good it looks.

How do you keep the nose attach? My husband wants to cosplay him, we wondering what the best way to keep the nose on?

Oh man, I love this! It's just so much fun! The cosplay is awesome, it looks real, just like the characters might look in real life, and it's obvious you put a lot of thought and work into it! But my favourite part is that you completely captured the characters' souls in this, which makes it come alive!

I really appreciate you taking the time to write comments, WhistlingWolf! Veleven and I really love Luffy and Usopp, so it's really hard not to feel happy and in character when we dress as them! Hey Kaku! You'd know all about noses, right?!
The nose in *this* photo was a combination of two rubber Pinocchio noses I bought in a party shop. I cut them up, glued them together, and sealed them with some modelling compound, paint and foundation. The most recent nose I made was my first attempt with latex. I'm learning different things each time ... so hopefully they'll keep getting better!

I know you posted this comment a year ago, but I thought I'd give you a few tips anyways. I'm a professionally trained, special effects makeup artist. To do Franky's chin well, you might want to learn how to sculpt prosthetics. You can do this by making a face cast to replicate your jaw (or the jaw of the person cosplaying as Franky). Then, use some hardening sculpting clay on the face cast to make the shape of Franky's chin. When you're happy with the look, then harden it. After that you'll need to use the hardened clay to create a mould that you can pour the latex into to make the prosthetic.
It's a long, pain-in-the-ass process, but if you can master making and applying prosthetics, then it REALLY stands out in the final result.
