You gave PINKIE a Citroen? Really? And you put Twilight in a Prius instead of a DS? Applejack in a Fourgonnette would have been good, too.
Pinkie is more the Microbus type, I would think. Or a Cadillac convertible, late '50s or early '60s.

You know what's fun about these drawings? Everybody's got such varying opinions on what I should have picked and what I shouldn't have picked. I kind of anticipated that happening to an extent, but the amount of debate has certainly been... plentiful. Funnily, I've got more "why'd you choose X instead of Y" than "oh, I totally see that," which of course in practice is impossible to execute since there's always going to be someone who disagrees. But that's the beauty of opinions, ain't it?
Anyway yeah, the 2CV just felt like a fun car and Pinkie likes fun. I didn't really have deeper reasons than that. Though I think a Sonderbus would have worked quite well too, I admit. And for Twi, the Prius just said to me "nerd car". That was perhaps also partially influenced by my waning interest in the character, and how middle-of-the-road her general personality was, so even a '79 Nova would have likely been just as good. Though today I'd probably just rather go with a 2008 Civic hatchback.

I need to read through Applejack's comments, because you might have had total agreement there, my Fourgonette comment above notwithstanding.
As you mention "fun", the song "Fun Fun Fun" came to mind, but Dash would probably have more fun with a T-bird than Pinkie...
For some reason, I don't really think of a 2CV as a fun car, not like a dune buggy or a huge American station wagon with a surfboard on the roof rack. I just think of it as a motorized umbrella that can cross a ploughed field carrying a basket of eggs without breaking any.
...and all this talk about ponies and cars makes me wonder which pony would be which Ronin. Dash would definitely be Larry, Trixie would probably be Spence... can't think of any of them as Gregor, though...

Just don't drive behind any jets, Pinkie!

That sounds like fun, and I like doing fun things!

Yeah, the only problem is that 2CVs have a tendency to fall apart when you do that.

As in fall apart...violently.
It'd most likely kill you.

Silly, it needs a lot more than that to get rid of me! Trust me, ponies have tried!
Ponies. Have. Tried.

Which is what makes her adorable and, despite Rarity being my favourite, Pinkie is more loveable.

Yeah, I'd say Pinkie is more a crowd pleaser with being the most cartoony of the bunch with by far the most undauntingly happy personality, while Rarity is much more of a realistic character even with her ebullient larger-than-life persona (which is why you tend to see Pinkie used much more in comedic epiodes and Rarity in dramatic). Which is also probably one of the reasons why Rarity tends to split opinions down pretty much in the middle as opposed to someone like Pinkie who is ultimately rather hard to dislike.

I want one of those! It looks just like the Layton-mobile.
