Description An armour concept sketch for Turid my Dungeons and Dragons paladin character. She is wearing 14th century armour and would also be having a shield and a helmet that I didn't feel like drawing today.

Awesome! Realistic female armor! There is no where near enough of these around!

Thank you. They are not always easy to find.

I love tough ladies with swords, and I love paladins. So of course I double love this picture.

This is absolutely wonderful!
Beautiful concept, tells us a lot about her in just one look and the armour is great!

Thank you very much. I would consider it to be a rather neautral picture but I'm glad that you got a sense of her character anyway. It was a neat armour to draw and I am happy with the result.

This and the cleric you drew are two of my favorite of your characters. You have such a great eye for combining historical outfits and merging them with fantasy.

Thank you so much. The fantasy elements in this one is minimal to say the least. I just combined a few different 14th century armour sets. But I'm very happy that people like it. I think that I said before that I really like the designs of your religious order costumes.

Cool, I like how natural and realistic she looks. I especially appreciate that you didn't use the 7 or 8 heads height type of charater.
Maybe I would choose a more power and contrasty lighting set up to make it stand out though. I don't know if have ever seen this artist work but I do love how she handles it: cg-sister.deviantart.com/galle…

Thanks. She wasn't supposed to look physically imposing so the larger head worked pretty well. I also have a rather strong aversion to the coconut-head look so sometimes I move to much in the other direction

I love cg-sisters work and have several of her pieces in my favourite folder. I just wanted to churn out thje look of the armour real quick but working with more interesting lighting is certainly on my to do list.
