oooh, very nice! i think she looks great. very successful with the angle of her face, and with three-dimensionality of her dress, especially in the upper part of the sleeves. that rose looks fantastic, and both of their faces and hair too. the picture makes me curious about the series

Hmm... I don't know what I was going for with the bg. That is to say, I didn't try make a point with it, or think about it thoroughly. But I guess I wanted to make it sort of sunset-like, but more stormy or dangerous... from what I gather, she's going to try to drown herself immediately after the kiss, so it would have felt strange to make the bg too happy or romantic.

ahhh... yes, it doesn't quite give a happy feeling, but doesn't give anything away either, so i guess that works.
i'm addicted to that song now, what have you done to me! and it doesn't help that umineko is the most confusing thing i have ever encountered, i can't make heads or tails of any of it
by the way, your...first beatrice pic, i believe, shows up in the first page of most popular pics if you search for her on the main page... or i might have searched for her and battler...i forget

Well actually it's a visual novel. It's been made into an anime, too (or some of it), but most Umineko fans seem to think it just doesn't hold up, like, at all. And as far as this drawing is concerned, I'm sure of only one thing - the kiss happened.
But yeah, that song is amazing.
