This was for an Icarus contest. The contest was to recreate the story of Icarus (male or female), be that modern, or ancient using 5 or more stock and resources available on DeviantART.

Greek Mythology Icarus was the son of Daedalus, locked with his father inside the Labyrinth. They escaped from the maze using wings devised from wax but Icarus flew too close to the sun and the wax melted, plunging him into the Aegean Sea.
