what was the point of making lacus go into 'seed' mode as it where she doesnt even command the eternal Waltfeld did that all she did was make speeches...does that require bezerker mode xD?

Her 'seed' further increases Kira's abilities. That's the reason why they wanted her dead so much, if they both have their seed modes up, Kira becomes a god

Really...?...how? I thought they wanted her dead because of her political influence. She is after all a natural born leader, charismatic and, popular with the people. So i could see why Durandal had Meer so he could gather more popular opinion. But meh Destiny was stupid in a lot of things it did like Kira surviving a the Freedom after having an energy sword stabbed right through its Nuclear reactor xD.

The irony being that Durandal was worried about Lacus interfering in his plans, so he sends assassins, thereby bringing the not just her, but the missing Freedom, The Archangerl, and the Eternal all rallied against him... they probably wouldn't have gotten involved if he'd have just left her alone on the Marshall Islands....

I think that he was just trying to manipulate everyone so they would join him and support his destiny plan, but at the same time I can't help but think he had some pretty stupid decisions.
1. Meet: he manipulated Lacus's biggest fan in order to try and create his own songstress, without even trying to communicate with the real lacus first.
2. Athurn: trying to win over one of the hero's from the previous war, smart! Confuse him so he can't decided what the best course of action is, genius! Separate him orb by making him think zaft was right, brilliant! Give him enough influence and power to essentially do whatever he wants including having superiority over 95% of zaft... Not so much.
3. Kira: durandel is smart, he knows Kira is the ultimate coordinator, and that is something that Kira confided to only lacus, athrun, and cagahli (sp?). So if he knew that then obviously he would have to know about his current relationship with lacus, especially after athrun accidentally let it slip, so why would he try to assassinate her? Was he trying to bring them into the war? And if so, for what purpose they'd only cause interference with his plans.
That's not to say that some of his moves weren't brilliant

That would in incorrect. SEED-mode only effects the one it belongs to and no one else. This is a Gundam series and such a ability wouldn't be aimed at another like that since they keep things consistent. Specifically... "She is shown to have a good sense of delegation and command for those that work under her. When in SEED-mode, her delegation and coordination abilities are enhanced for commanding the Eternal; her full abilities are unknown."
This is both from the Gundam wiki and the Gundam information book that was released over in Japan x3

sure but again she didn't even run the Eternal Waltfeld did he commanded it every time it was on screen from weapons to navigation. Shes a politician not a military leader in the end so idk how that required the whole SEED deal. I see no point when she didn't even gave out orders. I saw her order like...twice i think in whole s2 and they weren't combat related. So why in saints hell give her SEED mode...also while i'm at it remember Kagali getting like 14 secs of SEED mode in first Season. It was stated way back when archangel first went to Orb that SEED was the next stage in human evolution in space (*cough*newtype*cough*), and that it was not limited to just coordinators alone.

Yeah but what did Cagalli do to 'evolve' seriously she piloted like thrice in the entire series and got shot down every single god damn time...Well again. At the end of s1 she didn't get shot down against grunts...which is stupid had this been UC she would have been murdered by the grunts who are competent pilots or if this was 00 as they as well where competent pilots. SEED had disgraceful regular forces seriously.Β

If I recall, I believe they (I forget who exactly I think yzak) said that Patrick zala kept pushing out soldiers with only basic training on how to pilot, preferring quantity over quality. Thus UC/00 grunts with quality training and experience would look like aces compared to CE's grunts

IDK why they decided to steal the ZAFT models when they could have produced their own...they did mass produced original Duel and Blitz mobile suits after all.Β

Also OMNI was the one to develope anti-beam energy shield while ZAFT still had physical shields. Serioulsy ZAFT high command must be filled with idiots
who have people dress them. Because they are sending out their men to die to an enemy with better trained pilots and mobile suits of their own...
You can't defend ZAFT on this OMNI grunts as well really but just going on what you said to argue the point of bad grunts being bad...UC grunts doe DAYUM. hell a 00 Grunt took out the Ptolemies I in Gundam 00 seson 1! Freaking Season two A-Laws where a legitimate threat even AFTER they got their five gundams together. Destiny was just filled with too many plot holes x.x. Β

It was Zala who rushed production of soldiers, Durandel was too busy putting up the "peace" front to be able to show how he was prepping for war, while in secret he was gearing up for it, (neo-genesis, Destiny, Legend, etc.) not to mention that his soldiers made Zala's look like noobs. Also with the production o the Zaku's and the Goufs, even the most incomptent pilot had the potential to be dangerous, as for the elites, well they gave kira a run for his money, even if it was just to protect his wifu with only his sister's gundam until he got onboard.

Rau nearly KILLED Kira which i wouldn't have complained to. Seriously Destiny is just crap...fanfictions have done it better xD.

I agree with you for the most part, but something you're forgetting is that rau was a white,on of the most elite, also he devestated Kira both mentally and emotionally. Rey? He just hated kira's guts. Furthermore Rey was a red, and rau had years more of experience than rey

Really great job with her! Lacus is my favorite female anime character of all time. She's just too awesome. lunalightsshadow did a pretty good job of conveying why she's great. I'm going to keep my own reasons to myself, because I doubt it would do her character justice and I'd just rather not. Again, fantastic job. It was really cool seeing her go into SEED mode for the first time.

I love it! Lacus Clyne is such a special character. She's sorta what you imagine the perfect girl to be like. She's sympathetic, gentle, kind, and sweet but - as you really caught really, really, really well in this pic - she's determined to do whatever is necessary to stop the bloodshed. She looks delicate sometimes, but it's the opposite, like here. As a girl, it's hard to find characters like that in today's pop culture. Thank you! It's in my favorites! I hope I can one day do stuff like this, but I'm still really inexperienced with art...
