Description
For some creative release from my work life, I've been re-imaging the original LoZ sprites.What I like about the LoZ series is that every game that comes out has a new take on the art and style of characters. It gives so many creative liberties to us cartoonists that love the series! As long as you follow the basic rules (like Link wears a green tunic with a floppy hat or that Ganon is a demonic boar) you can give this world and its inhabitants your own look and feel.

Wow! I would have loved to seen these guys in Skyward Sword like this. Did you base its design off of that game, or did it just come to you naturally?

Loved killing this guy in Phantom Hourglass. One of the hardest bosses in my opinion, because I had NO CLUE what was going on. It was like, "Go, Arashi! Go kill that beast! But don't touch the quicksand, which just happens to be EVERYWHERE!!" And then he randomly resurrects when you think you've won! Man, i hate that thing, but great picture, anyway!

Hehe... since I never really played the original Zelda (only the Brawl demo), I don't know these guys. I do remember fighting the Dodongo Snakes in Link's Awakening the same way, though.

Either way will look good. I just wish the Zelda series would "borrow" your art style for their games. If NES had the graphic capability, I always imagined them as looking more cartoonish as a kid, rather than how Nintendo makes them look now.

You have to use the bombs in the original game to stop him, but you're given a cryptic clue that says "Dodongo Dislikes Smoke" before you have t fight him ^_^
