Description
Alan Wake [narrating]: I had come to the small town of Gravity Falls in search of my wife Alice. The Dark Presence alone was trouble enough, but not even a famous writer could escape the clutches of his own fanbase. Mabel, the girl from the shop I had visited, wouldn't stop following me. Thankfully, she was the lesser of two evils...--

Alan wake narrating: The darkness had thrown me into an ocean of madness. I was desperately struggling to escape the lake. I swam to the surface, only to be dragged back down by Mr. Scratch. Then something grabbed mr. scratch. It looked like a sea monster. I had no time to dwell on it. the Dark presence was nearly there, reaching out with its shadowy tentacles. But just as it was about to reach me, a large gloved hand pulled me from the water.
Manly Manington: Hey, what are you doin' swimming in the lake? Are you crazy?
Alan narrating: I was taken to a shop by Manington, where his daughter apparently worked. As I left, I felt like I was being followed. I silently pulled out my gun on...... A little girl.
Mabel: AH! What are you doing?
Dipper: I told you we shouldn't follow him.

Alan [narrating]: Coming to my senses, I holstered my weapon quickly as I'd drawn it. To my surprise and relief, the stalkers were ordinary citizens, not agents of darkness.
Alan: I'm sorry. I thought you were something else. Who are you two?
[Narrating]: From what I could tell, they were twins, a brother and sister perhaps, barely into their teens. The girl had a sunny air around her, while the boy had a more serious point of view. Complete opposites, but otherwise harmless...

Dipper: what do you mean by "something."
Alan: you wouldn't believe me.
Mabel: Alan Wake, we have traveled time, fought off an army of gnomes with a leaf blower, been chased by a robotic loch ness monster, been attacked by a crazy, big-haired maniac, battled a video game character, attacked by sentient, discarded candy,cloned, been possessed by ghosts, and shrunk with a flashlight. There is nothing you can say to convince us to not listen to your story.
narration: I had no choice. I told them about the lake, the dark presence, and the Taken. They believed me. Despite all the odds, they believed me. They may have been kids, but they were the only allies I had in this town.
Alan: lets get back to town before nightfall.
mabel: what, are you scared of the dark?
Dipper: did you not hear everything he just said? Of course he is. you should be too.
*return to the mystery Shack*
Wendy: So, this is the author my dad fished out?
Mabel: Sure is!
Alan: do you have any flashlights?
Soos: yeah. I'll grab some for you.
Alan: grab 6.
narration: It was just in time taht we got the lights. WIthout them, we wouldn't have survived. it was also lucky the owner had a 10 guns and a working truck

[Soon enough, the Taken come out to "play"]
Dipper: [flipping through book pages] How do we stop them?! There's nothing in here about how to deal with shadow-people!
Alan: Drive them back with your lights, then fire at will!
[He shines his flashlight on a Taken, then shoots it at the right moment. Everyone able to hold a gun follows suit.]
Alan: [to Mabel, after killing the last one] How did you know who I was?
Mabel: Well duh, you're only the most famous writer in forever!
[She pulls out a magazine with a grinning Wake on the cover.]
Alan: [Unenthusiastically] Oh yeah, that... [looking up] Behind you!
[He takes out another Taken.]
Mabel: Ohmigod, Thanks! [She hugs his leg]
Alan: [surprised] Later.

Wendy: Honestly, what's going on?
Alan: We're being attacked by the Taken. Grab a gun and head to the truck.
Naration: as we battled our way to the truck, we passed a small generator and a spotlight. It was just the right size for the back.
Alan: Soos, grab the light. Dipper, Mabel, grab the generator.
naration: as the the night went on, we found ourselves being attacked by more than just the Taken. there were gnomes, of all things, and a child with large hair. Things were getting wierd.
Soos: Dudes, there's a monster truck chasing us!
Alan: Shine the spotlight on it!
Naration: The engine stalled as we were going up a steep hill. Our chances of survival were nearly gone. Our only choice was to get out. The owner of the Shack, Stan, grabbed me by my jacket.
Stan: Ok, mr. Lovecraft, what's going on?

Alan: Let me go and I'll explain.
Stan: [sighs] Fine, but you're payin' for all this!
Alan: Send me the bill if we don't die first...
[Stan lets him go]
Alan: The figures that attacked us aren't after you, they're after me.
Stan: And what makes you so special?
Alan: I'm the only one who can stop this.
Stan: How? A giant tanning bed?
Alan: Not exactly. I'll explain the rest on the way.
Soos: Where to, Mr. Wake?
Alan: Back to the lake.
Soos: Heh, rhyme. You really are a great writer!
Alan: Um, thanks...

Well at least someone has finally thought of this crossover. Good job though, and I like the narrating.

It's meant to sound like anything he would say in-game, and we all know Mabel has the hots for any boys in town, especially celebrities...

Thanks. It also explains the story behind the picture: Alan pays a visit to Gravity Falls in his journey to save his wife. Upon arriving, he stops by the Mystery Shack and runs into an old friend (Perhaps Stan). Naturally, Dipper tells him about all the crazy things that have been happening in town, while Mabel (as mentioned) starts crushing on the already-married writer.
But, as expected, when the sun goes down and the Taken show up, Wake will be forced to play bodyguard...
