Mega Man, now in Pumpkin Format!This took me about 2 and a half hours to carve, not counting time spent making the template. The image itself is about 10 inches tall. Photo taken with my Samsung cellular phone.
I made the template in photoshop, using an image I found on The Google (I want to say it was originally part of the booklet that came with Mega Man 8, but that's really just an asspull. Mad props to the original artist, whomever they might be)

For that guy? Some of the standard little pumpkin saws you buy at the store, a kitchen knife, and a small screwdriver.

Damn this is amazing. My carved pumpkins always just look like...well...a pumpkin with triangle eyes and half a mouth. Because by that point I get bored and everyone is already done. Maybe I'll try again this year or something. VG Cats has some awesome templates I might try.
Anyhow, I think this may be my favorite carved pumpkin ever!!! (Doesn't hurt that I'm a huge Mega Man fan I guess.)

Wow, thanks man! You should definitely have another go at it, carving pumpkins is wicked fun, you just have to find (or make) a pattern you really like.
